Sophie & Shaun’s Wedding – Milton Hill House

Sophie & Shaun originally contacted me waaaay back in 2015, after looking at my Facebook page. When they first emailed they hadn’t yet found a venue for their wedding, but then in May 2016 Sophie got in touch again to go ahead and book, after falling in love with Milton Hill House.

Fast forward to June 2018, and their special day had arrived! Sophie’s bridesmaids had organised so many lovely surprises for her on the morning of the wedding, such as inflatable hearts (including one runty one – which caused much amusement between us and the bridesmaids!), ‘BRIDE’ balloon letters, a beautiful bouquet of flowers, and a scrapbook full of pictures and memories. It made for such a fun morning and we loved every minute of it!

The ceremony was held outside in Milton Hill House’s pergola, next to the Italian gardens, and the reception was held in the Wysteria room.

Sophie & Shaun were up for having lots of couple portraits – one of my favourite parts of a wedding day! We wandered around the amazing grounds and got an array of portraits for them.

In the evening, I was made aware that there would be a confetti cannon during the first dance, and that the DJ would give me a signal just before it was done. It… was… AWESOME! I looooove confetti, if I had my way I would go flying about like a leprechaun, who’s happened upon and eaten an entire pot of chocolate coins, while simultaneously shredding coloured paper into small pieces with my tiny hands, throwing it everywhere, haha! *phew… glad I managed to bring that tangent to its conclusion!*

Thanks so much guys, for choosing me as your wedding photographer, I had an absolute blast!
